Syd Barret is wearing in the photo below an ensemble that definetly has the Romantic/Victorian touch of the late 60s. The red velvet trousers and white ruffle shirt make this an eye catching outfit.
The ruffle shirt is indeed a very famous piece, though it should be done and worn properly (god only knows the hot-ruffled-messes that we’ve seen!)... that being said, I don’t think it’s for me, maybe we should leave it to nostalgic rock starts . Phil

maybe its too much...velvet pants...but his music was amazing!!
Yeah both pieces are outstanding, each on their own, and probably should be worn seperately, but well it was the era and it was Syd :P
