"A Plein Soleil" is one of the most stylish films in cinema history due to the elegant and well coordinated Summer ensembles worn by Alain Delon and Maurice Ronet.

On this post, two photos that focus on the joys of Summer as portrayed on "A Plein Soleil".

Jackie & John F. Kennedy: Summer Pastels

Summer is all about color, whether it's bright neon, pastels, or somewhere in between. Jackie and John F. Kennedy knew about the elegance and good taste of wearing pastels in an early 60s Summer.

L' Officiel: Global Elegance '66

Gracing the cover of L'Officiel's April 1966 issue, a photograph that not only captures the elegance and style of the ensembles worn by the models, but also gives a glimpse of the "Citizen of the World" movement from the 60s with those exotic sculptures.

The 60s were a decade where fashion paid hommage to the World's multiculturalism by offering ethnic inspired pieces; and through the photography of Henry Clarke, who photographed models wearing the latest trends in breathtaking locations.

Pink Floyd: The Great Summer Gig

Pink Floyd shows how to successfully wear print shirts this Summer. My favorite ensemble is the one worn by Syd Barret because his shirt's design isn't only eye-catching, but because he added the finishing touches with a bead necklace and a silk belt.

The Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Rock

July 12th marked the 50th anniversary of the first performance ever given by the Rolling Stones at the Marquee Club. This group, whose name is credited to one of it's founding members Brian Jones, can be considered along with The Beatles as the two most influential groups in Rock and music history.

The Stones represent an era; icons of Swinging 60s London, rebellion with a touch of the Riviera & Studio 54 in the 70s, and reinvention & adaptation to modernity in the last three decades. It can't be denied that the Rolling Stones are part of our life's soundtrack.

Long Live the Rolling Stones!

Pilar Crespi and Ritchie White wore Bohemian inspired print ensembles while visiting Puerto Rico in the early 70s. The combination of different prints creates an interesting contrast.
