Storm Thorgerson: The Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" is an album not only remembered for its music, but also for its cover. Released in March 1973, the band's 8th album cover was designed by Storm Thorgerson and drawn by George Hardie.
Storm Thorgerson, who designed other Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin album covers passed away yesterday.

Jean-Paul Belmondo: Le Magnifique
In honor of Jean-Paul Belmondo's 80th birthday, a photo of him as top secret agent Bob Saint-Clar/Sinclar in the 1973 film "Le Magnifique". Jacqueline Bisset co-starred with Belmondo in this original spy spoof; which showed the adventures of Bob, a character created by writer Francois Merlin, which was also portrayed by Belmondo.

James Dean & Sara Montiel
Sara Montiel, one of Spain's greatest actresses and singers, died on April 8, 2013. She was the first Spanish actress to participate in Hollywood films with the likes of Gary Cooper and Burt Lancaster. During the filming of "Serenade" in 1955, Sara Montiel became friends with Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean, who were participating in "Giant" on the adjacent studio.
The photograph below shows Sara and James Dean sharing a moment of laughter. This was James Dean's last photograph before his untimely death. It has been said that Sara had intended to join him on his Porsche for that tragic journey.

Honoring 3 Decades of British Menswear
To celebrate the Jubilee and the Olympics, Britain's Royal Mail issued a series of ten stamps honoring the best British designers of these last six decades. Most of them were womenswear designers, yet menswear designers were also honored, as shown below. Definitely a quick flashback of menswear in the 60s-80s.
Worth mentioning is the fact that Tommy Nutter's suit was worn by Ringo Starr.
