Emilio Pucci will perhaps be always remembered for his geometric print designs during the 60s and 70s, designs that were ad hoc to the times, bold and eye catching, for some trashy, and for others (including me) artistic. Whatever your perception about Pucci is, it can't be denied that he had an important influence in fashion 40 years ago. Pucci, native from Florence and owner of the old Palazzo Pucci, designed mostly womenswear, and yet he ventured to design some accesories for men.
In the last couple of years, with the 60s and 70s revival, his vintage designs have been sought after again; designs made up of brilliant colors, paisley like figures, and geometic shapes.
Below a photo of Pucci holidaying with his wife on the Italian Coast during the early 60s.
